The story

Anatolia, 2149. A dimensional rift has opened and the Ash Legion — an army of self-repairing machines — is marching through it. As commander of the Last Line, build and upgrade your weapons along the road and seal the Gate for good.

How to play

1. Pick a front on the campaign map and choose a difficulty.
2. Spend your budget to build weapons along the road the enemies will take.
3. Start the wave and stop the enemies before they reach your base.
4. Use the money you earn to upgrade weapons up to level three, or sell and reposition them when needed.
5. In boss battles, combine different weapons against armor, shields and flying units, and collect stars and medals.

The in-game Field Manual explains all controls, and the Intel section describes every weapon and enemy in detail.

Who makes it?

War Gunner is made by an independent developer. The game uses no pre-made art or audio files: every model, terrain, effect, sound and music track is generated by code while the game runs. It uses Three.js for 3D rendering and the Web Audio API for sound and music.
